Integrations
Motorbay is a REST API, and you can use it from your own code, from an AI assistant or from a spreadsheet. These are the ways that exist today.
Integrations

Webhooks
AvailableWatch a vehicle, and get a signed call to your server when it changes after the weekly import.

Google Sheets

What you get with Motorbay
Facts about the API, each with its source.
-
500 plates in one call
POST /v1/vehicles/plates looks up 1 to 500 plates at once and answers for each plate on its own.
Source: POST /v1/vehicles/plates
-
A used-car check in one call
Blocks, a re-stamped VIN, leasing, traffic damage and the latest inspection, with a severity on each flag.
Source: GET /v1/vehicles/plate/{plate}/check , GET /v1/vehicles/vin/{vin}/check , GET /v1/vehicles/{vehicleId}/check
-
The extract's date on every answer
The Motorbay-Data-As-Of header says which of Motorstyrelsen's extracts the answer comes from.
-
OpenAPI and stable error codes
Errors are problem details with a stable code such as VehicleNotFound or RateLimitExceeded, with a dated changelog and a public status page.
